Rita Barry & Co. Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rita Barry & Co. (“RBC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website (ritabarry.co), work with us as a client, or interact with systems we operate — including our use of data from Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) through the Meta developer platform.
If you have any questions, contact us at contact@ritabarry.co.
1. Who We Are
Rita Barry & Co. is a digital advertising agency that manages paid advertising campaigns — primarily on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) — on behalf of our clients.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact and inquiry information — your name, email address, and any details you share when you fill out a form on our website, book a call, or email us.
- Client engagement information — business information, account access authorizations, and campaign materials provided in the course of a client relationship.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs through Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage; the data we receive is aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can learn how Google processes this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Meta Platform Data
We operate a Meta developer application (RBC Ads Pull) that connects to Meta's Marketing API. This application is a business tool used solely to manage and report on advertising for clients who have expressly authorized our access to their assets through Meta Business Manager. It does not offer a public login and does not collect data from consumers directly.
Through this application, we process the following Platform Data:
- Ad account data — campaign, ad set, and ad configurations; budgets; delivery status; and account activity logs for ad accounts our clients have assigned to us.
- Advertising performance data — aggregate metrics such as impressions, clicks, spend, leads, and conversions. These are aggregate statistics, not information about identifiable individuals.
- Page and ad creative data — information about Facebook Pages our clients have authorized (such as Page name and ID) and the ad creative content (images, videos, and copy) we build and publish on their behalf.
- Audience and event data — custom audience names, sizes, and configurations, and aggregate statistics about pixel / Conversions API datasets (such as event counts and match quality), used to plan and verify campaign targeting and tracking.
How we process Meta Platform Data, and why
We process Platform Data exclusively to provide advertising services to the client who owns the underlying assets:
- Building and publishing ad campaigns at the client's direction
- Reporting on campaign performance to the client
- Monitoring account health (for example, detecting ad rejections or delivery problems)
- Verifying that tracking and attribution are working correctly
We do not sell Platform Data, use it to build advertising profiles of individuals, combine it across clients, or use one client's data for the benefit of another. Each client's data is used only for that client's campaigns.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide our services
- Manage, optimize, and report on client advertising campaigns
- Operate, secure, and improve our website
- Meet legal, accounting, and contractual obligations
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that support our operations — such as cloud hosting, workspace and project-management tools, spreadsheet and reporting tools, and automation infrastructure — under terms that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
- The client that owns the data — campaign data and reporting derived from a client's ad accounts are shared with that client.
- Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Website inquiry data is retained while we correspond with you and for a reasonable period afterward.
- Client campaign data and reporting are retained for the duration of the client engagement and for a reasonable archival period afterward, unless the client requests earlier deletion.
- Meta Platform Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services to the authorizing client. When a client engagement ends, or when Meta asset authorization is revoked, we delete or cease processing that client's Platform Data except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights and Data Deletion Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To request deletion of your data — including any data obtained through our Meta developer application — email us at contact@ritabarry.co with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” We will confirm receipt and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Clients can additionally revoke our access to their Meta assets at any time through Meta Business Manager (Business Settings ? Partners), which immediately ends our ability to access their Platform Data.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA by contacting us at contact@ritabarry.co; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
7. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and credential management. Access to client Platform Data is limited to team members who need it to deliver services.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. International Transfers
We are based in Canada and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
